OUR RESPONSE TO ATTACK ON HINDU MINORITY

With the reference to the attached news column on the daily newspaper
“Bhorer Kagaj, dated July 27, 2009, we are very much shocked and
embarrassed for untold and inhumane torture on the minority people at
the stated place in Narsingdi.

The responsible communal people, land grabbers and the godfathers
involved in the destructive violence must be brought under rules and
order and given proper punishment but what are we getting?

We (minority community) are the citizens of a democratic state like
Bangladesh under democratic and secular government from where we can
expect justice and harmony.

We are arguing the government, civil society, well-wishers, media and
all concerned bodies to take necessary steps against the evil and
heinous deeds.
